The Caring Closet at a quick glance
We have found that there is a lack of suitable, free, high-quality clothing, available to at-risk/vulnerable families in the community. Therefore, we provide consignment quality, FREE clothing, in a timely manner, in a supportive setting, as well as bags filled with necessities and comfort items.
Vision
To help people build a better quality of life that leads to security, independence, and peer acceptance by providing free, high-quality clothing.
Mission
To facilitate and distribute donated high-quality clothing and comfort bags to people in the Richmond area who are in a short-term or extended at-risk situation.
Our Goals
Be the premiere consignment quality clothing depository for consignment sales, partner agencies, retail stores, and individual community donors.
Continually and successfully facilitate the output of free clothing to at-risk clients, and partner agencies, schools, and programs that serve the same population.

Stability. Style. Self-worth.
What we choose to wear helps to create our identity. Our fashion choices are a form of self-expression. But for many, when it comes to clothing, the options are limited. By curating wardrobes to fit each client’s wishes, we bring comfort and style to those who need it most.
